Familiarizing yourself with the visitors’ guide and following the instructions will help you have a delightful golf experience at Estonian Golf & Country Club.
General
Please follow the signs and instructions in the golf club. If you have any questions, please contact the EGCC Caddiemaster or the nearest employee.
Children up to 12 years can play on the golf courses for free, but only with an accompanying adult who has purchased a game ticket and is responsible for the children’s behavior and safety.
EGCC is not responsible for injuries or other health problems and will not compensate for any resulting damages.
Do not come to the golf club in a state of intoxication. Employees have the right to stop an intoxicated person from being in the golf club if they are a danger to themselves and others, and are disturbing visitors.
EGCC promotes healthy lifestyles and family time, therefore smoking is not allowed at the entrance to the clubhouse and on the practice facilities. We have many youth training sessions and want to keep the lungs of young people and non-smokers clean. Smoking is allowed on the restaurant terrace and in front of the men’s locker room in designated areas.
Handicap Requirements
EGCC maintains the HCP rule of 108 for the maximum HCP per flight on the Sea Course. No HCP limit is valid on the Stone Course. EGCC reserves the right to inspect handicap certificates.
Dress Code
Traditional golf attire is most appropriate for enjoying golf on the course. T-shirts, tracksuits, jeans, sports shorts, revealing clothing (e.g., crop tops), beach shoes, and high-heeled shoes are not permitted.
On the Course
In EGCC, respect is shown for the golf course on which it is played and for fellow golfers by:
Stick to the starting time.
Keep a moderate pace of play.
Always play safe.
Follow the etiquette.
Smooth out the marks left by your own and other people’s balls on the greens.
Mark your shots on the fairway.
Rake the bunkers, place the rakes on a slope outside the bunker in the direction of impact.
When removing the ball from the hole, do not step closer than 30 centimeters to the hole.
Return the golf cart to the same place you picked it up.
Know and understand the local (on the back of the scorecard) and general golf rules (R&A Rules of Golf).
On the golf course, turn off your phone or put it on silent mode while playing.
Be careful when looking for the ball, you may also encounter reptiles that are more afraid of you than you might think.
Use rented golf and other equipment responsibly.
In the Clubhouse
It is prohibited to wear golf shoes with metal spikes in the clubhouse; so-called “soft spikes” are permitted.
Take care of your locker key, if you lose it, there is a €20 damage fee. Report the loss of the key to the Caddiemaster.
EGCC is not responsible for items in changing rooms, lockers, and bags, or for their loss.
Wet floors are slippery! Move slowly in changing rooms and showers to avoid falls and injuries.
Golf Course Maintenance
General maintenance and course renovations may be required throughout the golf season. We strive to keep the disruption to a minimum and we do appreciate your patience as we work to ensure the courses are presented in the best condition possible.
