Estonian Golf & Country Club member Richard Teder has won the Turkish Amateur Open 2026, securing himself a coveted place in a DP World Tour event.

The Turkish Amateur Open was held at Kaya Palazzo Golf Club from January 9 to 11. Teder opened the tournament spectacularly, setting a new course record with a 65 (-7) in the first round. He finished the championship at -12 with rounds of 65, 65 and 74.

In an interview (in Estonian) with the Estonian Golf Association, Teder shared that his main goal for the tournament was to earn a DP World Tour wild card. “Now it’s time to get back to work and sharpen my game even further,” Richard added.

The DP World Tour event, Turkish Airlines Open, will take place at the National Golf Club in Belek from 30 April to 3 May.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Richard and wish him every success on the DP World Tour.
