Estonian Golf & Country Club member Richard Teder<\/strong> has won the Turkish Amateur Open 2026, securing himself a coveted place in a DP World Tour event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Turkish Amateur Open was held at Kaya Palazzo Golf Club from January 9 to 11. Teder opened the tournament spectacularly, setting a new course record with a 65 (-7) in the first round. He finished the championship at -12 with rounds of 65, 65 and 74.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview<\/a> (in Estonian<\/em>) with the Estonian Golf Association, Teder shared that his main goal for the tournament was to earn a DP World Tour wild card. “Now it\u2019s time to get back to work and sharpen my game even further,” Richard added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DP World Tour event, Turkish Airlines Open, will take place at the National Golf Club in Belek from 30 April to 3 May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
