However, club membership provides a good foundation to rely on if you always want to play with us, meet new people or just have a good time. And let\u2019s not forget Estonian Golf &amp; Country Club\u2019s advantages and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/egcc.ee\/en\/benefits\/\">benefits<\/a>&nbsp;and club competitions throughout the season.<\/p>\n<p>Estonian Golf &amp; Country Club can accommodate up to 650 adult members, the limit does not apply to children and young people. We have more than 400 different shareholders, who own more than 50% of the company. In 2005 we joined the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/egcc.ee\/en\/european-tour-destinations\/\">European Tour Destinations<\/a>&nbsp;to get a direct connection to the best know-how in the world of golf.<\/p>\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <div class=\"accordion-item\">\n            <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"accordion-2056694-heading-4\">\n                <button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-accordion-2056694-4\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse-accordion-2056694-4\">\n                    <span class=\"material-icons\"> emoji_events <\/span>&nbsp;<strong>INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS<\/strong>                <\/button>\n            <\/h2>\n            <div id=\"collapse-accordion-2056694-4\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-2056694-heading-4\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordion-2056694\">\n                <div class=\"accordion-body\">\n                    <p>We have set ourselves the goal of organizing some major international competitions at Estonian Golf &amp; Country Club every year in order to bring both players as well as competition organisers and judges to Estonia. This, in turn, has allowed many in Estonia the opportunity to gain top-class experience here by learning from the best in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Good examples are the World Cup European Qualifier competitions organised here in 2009 and 2011, which were played by many world-level as well as <strong>Ryder Cup players<\/strong>. In addition to several European Championships, from young people to seniors and in between, there are also individual European Championships for women and men in 2014 and 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Our J\u00f5el\u00e4htme golf course has scaled an incredibly large number of peaks in a relatively short time. T<strong>he Sea Course record of 63 strokes<\/strong>&nbsp;belongs to&nbsp;<strong>Viktor Hovland<\/strong>&nbsp;from Norway, a young talent currently in the world\u2019s top ten who earned silver at the European Championships in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The summer of 2026 will bring two major tournaments to the Estonian Golf &amp; Country Club. In early July, we will host the <strong>European Amateur Team Championship<\/strong>, followed at the end of the month by the&nbsp;<strong>Infortar Estonian Challenge<\/strong>, part of the European professional <strong>HotelPlanner Tour<\/strong>.
